The 2025 Grammy Awards were about so much more than just incredible music. Country music artists absolutely stole the spotlight, turning the red carpet into a full-on fashion runway with glamorous styles that had everyone talking (and yes we mean everyone - almost as much as they were talking about that other thing...iykyk). Here are our favs who absolutely took home Best Dressed for their standout Grammy styles...
Kelsea Ballerini: Glamorous in a Plunging Mini
Kelsea Ballerini, nominated for Best Country Duo/Group Performance with Noah Kahan for "Cowboys Cry Too," stole the spotlight with a look so stunning that it didn't even matter she didn’t take home a Grammy—she definitely made it onto our Best Dressed list!
Ballerini wowed in a glam Tamara Ralph mini from the designer’s Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2024-2025 collection. The structured black mini, adorned with intricate beading and shiny fringe, featured a bold plunging neckline with a daring conical bra top. To complete her red carpet look, Kelsea added a dramatic opera cape with puff sleeves and a sweeping train that made a show-stopping statement as she glided down the red carpet.
Her look was perfectly paired with simple black pumps, diamond rings and earrings by Jared Atelier. Soft waves adorned her long blonde hair, while her sun-kissed makeup, with just the right amount of bronzer and a glossy peach lip, gave her a radiant, effortless glow.
Kelsea also accessorized with proud boyfriend, actor Chase Stokes, on her arm. Stokes looked sharp in a Dolce & Gabbana Spring-Summer 2025 open-collar knit shirt, a double-breasted Sicilia jacket, wool trousers, and loafers.
Behind the scenes, Kelsea humorously shared in an Instagram video that she “can’t f---ing breathe” in the dress, and later told E!’s Zanna Roberts Rassi that she wouldn’t be sitting in it, and would need to change. But it was clear—her style, confidence, and undeniable star power made her a true winner of the night!
Lainey Wilson: Bye-Bye Bell-Bottoms, Hello Sharply Tailored Tux
Lainey Wilson, nominated for Best Country Album for Whirlwind, made a bold fashion statement at the 2025 Grammy Awards by ditching her signature bell-bottoms for a sleek, sharply tailored black Sergio Hudson suit. The 32-year-old country star surprised fans when she arrived on the red carpet without a trace of the dramatic flared pants she’s become known for. Wilson’s decision to opt for this sleek, sophisticated look marked a surprising, yet refreshing new direction for the country star—even if just for the night.
Wilson completed the minimalist $1,895 tuxedo jacket and column trousers with a black cowboy hat and a striking silver-and-turquoise statement necklace, proving that a little luxury still can’t take the country out of the girl. She shared photos of her ensemble on Instagram, captioned with the lyrics, “ain’t nowhere I’d rather be,” a nod to her hit single 4x4xU.
In an interview with Glamour in January 2024, Wilson revealed that she wasn’t sure if bell-bottoms would remain her signature forever, despite naming her fourth studio album Bell Bottom Country. While she’s worn flared pants to nearly every public event, the 2025 Grammys marked a break from tradition—at least for the moment. And we loved it so much, she made our Best Dressed list!
Kacey Musgraves: Timeless Glamour with a Casual Twist
Kacey Musgraves dazzled on the red carpet in a shimmering gold Ralph Lauren maxi skirt from the designer's Spring 2025 Ready-To-Wear Collection. The glittery, high-waisted skirt was the perfect match for music's biggest night. Musgraves' ensemble also featured a white bodice that resembled a tank top, proving that simplicity can be powerful.
Kacey wore her signature loose waves and bronzed glam makeup, completing her look with effortless elegance. She accessorized with earrings by Kiowa artist Keri Ataumbi and a leather cast concho belt, created in collaboration with Navajo silversmith Jimmy Begay Jr. and the Shiprock Santa Fe gallery.
The country star took home her eighth Grammy Award for Best Country Song for “The Architect” alongside fellow songwriters Shane McAnally and Josh Osborne. And she undoubtedly secured a spot on our our Best Dressed list, too!
The 2025 Grammy Awards were filled with unforgettable moments, both musically and fashionably. These country stars not only left a lasting impression, but also officially earned their spots as style icons in the industry. As we look ahead to next year’s Grammys, fashion lovers and country music fans alike are already eagerly awaiting the next round of jaw-dropping ensembles these artists will serve up—who knows, they might just raise the fashion bar even higher!
